Lookout Mountain Community Services (LMCS) serves adults, children, and adolescents with a wide range of problems. LMCS provides a full array of services to the mentally ill, developmentally disabled, and individuals with substance abuse problems in Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, and Walker Counties.

Certified Addiction Counselor

Individual needed to evaluate and counsel referred consumers with substance abuse histories.  Applicants must possess Certification as a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) from NAADAC or an NAADAC-affiliated organization (e.g., GACA) or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, behavioral sciences, or social services and some experience working with substance abuse consumers.

Licensed Professional Counselor

Individual needed to provide therapeutic services to children/adolescents, adults, and their families.  To assess, screen, and counsel consumers in a variety of program areas to enhance, meet, or restore a consumer's functioning capacity. Develops or participates in case management/care plans. Provides case management/case coordination services to consumers.  Provides counseling/therapy to consumers requiring complex intervention, including those who are homicidal, suicidal, or exhibit life-threatening behaviors; Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist is required.

Community Support Worker 

Individual needed to provide services to child/adolescent and/or adult population in home and community-based services/programs. Applicants must possess at least five years experience in social services delivery OR completion of a bachelor's degree in social work and one year experience in social services delivery.  The successful candidate must demonstrable experience in adhering to principles and values; relating and networking; persuading and influencing; people leadership; creating and innovating; planning and organizing; adapting and responding to change.

Office Clerk

We’re looking for someone with administration/support experience and great PC skills (MS Word, Outlook, and Excel).  The successful candidate will be extremely organized, efficient and self motivated. The nature of our business is fast moving and dynamic, so you will need to be flexible and able to effectively deal with changes in business needs as they arise.  Applicants must also possess at least one year clerical experience.

Vehicle Operator (part-time)

Transport consumers to destination as needed. Must be at least 21 years of age with 3 years of driving history.  Applicant must also possess a clean motor vehicle report.  Applicants must be punctual, honest, and enjoy interaction with others.  The successful applicant will enjoy being part of a supportive, flexible, and friendly team.
