Ken Parks lives in Rossville, Georgia, having moved there from New York 14 years ago. He has two children, a son Christian and a daughter Shannon, both living in New York.

 Ken has been with Lookout Mountain Community Services for seven years with the past six years as the Director of The Patria Center.  Ken is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Certified Forensic Counselor, and holds a teaching certificate in Special Education.  Along with his responsibilities at Lookout Mountain, Ken is also an adjunct professor at Dalton State College where he teaches in the Psychology Department.

When not working, Ken spends most of his time on the tennis court having played on CTA, USTA and ALTA teams.  Along with tennis Ken also is a photographer once having his own studio, The Light Works. 

 One of the primary driving forces in Ken’s life is to help others realize their fullest potential and to see every day as an opportunity for gaining insight which can be translated into growth.  As he often says, “Everyday is an adventure for those willing to accept the challenge.”
