Michael W. Free, LCSW, is the Outpatient Clinic Director for the LaFayette and Summerville Outpatient Clinics. He has been employed with LMCS since May 1985 and has been an Outpatient Clinic Manager throughout his tenure with LMCS. In addition to providing clinical services in the outpatient clinics, Mr. Free has also performed administrative duties in the Adult Day Treatment Program, Mental Health Residential Services Program, Crisis Services Program, Senior Adult Mental Health Program and Developmental Disabilities Program. He has worked as a crisis clinician at Hutcheson Medical Center since September 1995.

 Mr. Free is a native of Lindale, GA, and a graduate of Darlington High School in Rome, GA. He received his Bachelor of Social Work Degree from the University of Georgia and his Master of Social Work Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has been licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Georgia since 1995. Mr. Free has been an employee of the State of Georgia since September 1982 and was a Child Welfare worker with the Catoosa County Department of Family & Children Services prior to his employment with LMCS.
