Tom Ford

Executive Director

Tom Ford has been the Executive Director of Lookout Mountain Community Services since 1996. In this capacity he is responsible for the overall operations of the agency, including budget, administration, and personnel decisions.

As well as serving as Executive Director of LMCS, he is a contract consultant for Tennessee Valley Authority in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this position, he provides psychological consultation to management, including nuclear screenings, fitness-for-duty evaluations, ability-to-work safety evaluations and statistical analyses on request.

He received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas as Austin in 1978. He is a licensed psychologist in Georgia and Tennessee.

Tom has been Chair of the Georgia Association of Community Service Boards CEO Section since 2001. He also has been an Advisory Board Member of Joe Johnson Mental Health Center and Vice-President of Hamilton County Housing Association.
