Skeet Pittman
Adult CSI Supervisor
Skeet Pittman is a Licensed Professional Counselor who came to Lookout Mountain Community Services in 2007 in the position of Adult CSI Supervisor. Prior to this she worked in Rome, GA, as a counselor at Windwood Psychiatric Hospital and at Bridges of Rome IOP. She also continues a limited private practice in Rome.
Skeet grew up in southeastern North Carolina and earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Master of Education in counseling from North Carolina State University at Raleigh. She started her career in counseling initially as a college counselor and later began working in mental illness and substance abuse/dependence after moving to Georgia in 1993.
She has three grown children: two sons, Zan and Ian, who live in North Carolina, and one daughter, Kiki, who currently lives in Germany. Skeet is an artist and most enjoys sculpting. She was once the president of an artists' coalition, Cape Fear Studios, in Fayetteville, N.C.
