Janice Sabo

Human Resources Director

Janice has been married to Bill Sabo since 1982, and has one daughter named Ciji.

Janice is the Director of Human Resources for Lookout Mountain Community Services. In this capacity, Mrs. Sabo manages the Lookout Mountain Community Services Human Resources Department which includes, recruitment, benefits, training, marketing, transactions, and performance management. Mrs. Sabo has considerable experience in dealing with personnel problems and a thorough knowledge of the policy and procedures for the state and community service board environment.

Mrs. Sabo has worked in state government for more than seventeen years, with fifteen years specifically in human resources. She has been employed with Lookout Mountain Community Services since May 1989. She holds a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) certification from the Georgia Council for State Personnel Administration. Mrs. Sabo has been a member of the Georgia Council for State Personnel Administration since 1993 and is also a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). She has also served as a Training Instructor for the AAA Defensive Driving Improvement Program and for Georgia Gain Performance Management.

Mrs. Sabo is an avid exercise enthusiast and enjoys body sculpting, Yoga, Pilates and aerobics. She is a Charter Member of the Sweat Sisters of Advance Fitness. Her goal as a member of the Sweat Sisters is to provide a guiding hand, while encouraging other students to challenge themselves.
