LMCS- WINGA offers High Fidelity Wraparound statewide in all 159 counties of Georgia. Partnering with families of youth who are at risk of out of home placement and who also have a mental health diagnosis, LMCS-WINGA provides support and coordination based upon the family’s and youth’s needs. They work with collaboratively with schools, community supports, and to identify and utilize natural supports for the families. The child and family team consist of a Care Coordinator and Certified Peer Support –Parent and/or Specialist working on behalf of LMCS-WINGA and each individual family to reach goals they identify through a Child and Family Team meeting held each month throughout the process. The goal is to meet the youth and families where they are and keep the youth from being placed out of their community/home. There are ten principles of Wrap Around that guide the process through to completion. Those ten principles are: Family Voice and Choice, Team Based, Natural Supports, Collaboration, Community Based, Culturally Competent, Individualized, Strengths Based, Unconditional, and Outcome based.

On behalf of Lookout Mountain Community Services we would like to congratulate Ms. Stanley and the entire LMCS-WINGA team on winning this award and representing the agency statewide with outstanding support and dedication to the families you serve!
