We provide services to anyone four years of age and older who lives in Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, or Walker Counties and who are in need of Mental Health and Addictive Disease Treatment.

The agency provides a full array of mental health and substance abuse services to adults with a wide range of behavioral, psychiatric, and/or substance abuse disorders.  Outpatient treatment modalities include diagnostic assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychiatric evaluations and medication.

APEX Program

Through funding from the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, the APEX Program offers school support for students who are living with mental, emotional, behavioral, and substance use issues. The GA APEX Program provides in-school mental health counselors that serve as a resource for students, as well as, staff. Perhaps the greatest benefit that the program provides is the ability to link students and their families to the mental health services they need in their home communities.

Child and Adolescent Behavioral/Substance Use Services

Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services

This is a CARF International accredited program designed to promote independent advancement for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). In keeping with the agency’s mission to serve and enhance the lives of every member of our community, this program offers many opportunities for those with I/DD. With over 40 years of experience, this program has an outstanding reputation due to its commitment to providing individualized and community-based support and services. The program provides year-round, quality-driven social, recreational, vocational, and programs.

Project Light

Project Light is a service offered by Bridge Health to assist individuals aged 16 to 30 who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis (hearing voices, seeing things, delusions, odd speech or behavior, etc.) for the first time or within the past two years. It is among the agency’s most intensive services, providing frequent contact with a small caseload of individuals to help them understand their diagnosis, provide counseling, case management, and skills training, peer support, education and employment assistance, and medication therapy to help them overcome these newfound symptoms and learn to thrive. These services are provided not only in the clinic but in the individuals’ homes and the community.  When fully staffed the team consists of a prescriber, a licensed clinician, a bachelor-level paraprofessional, a Certified Peer Specialist, a family specialist, an education/employment specialist, and a part-time Registered Nurse.  To be eligible for these services with Bridge Health, an individual must be between 16 and 30 years old, have experienced symptoms of psychosis within the past two years, and live within Bridge Health’s service area.

Step UP Initiative

Step Up Youth Program is a specialty program of Bridge Health for moderately at risk youth ages 6 to 21 living in Region 1 of Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) who are either facing barriers to accessing suitable mental health services or are in need of more intensive services than outpatient services typically provide.  We assist youth and their families with developing skills for navigating emotional/behavioral health difficulties and connecting them with the right care at the right time.

Supported Employment/Supported Education (SEED) Services

The program is for emerging adults ages 16-26. The purpose of Supported Education is to assist youth and emerging adults with their educational goals. This service is available while the individual is enrolled in mental health services with Bridge Health.

The aim of this service is to:

  • Help individuals to identify and achieve their educational goals.
  • Advocate for academic accommodations when appropriate.
  • Assist with time management and study skills.
  • Provide follow-along support.
  • Provide support and guidance, to Individuals enrolled in educational programs and required training, that lead to gainful employment, in the job or career of the Individual’s choice.
  • Promote hope and recovery.

WinGeorgia Care Management/Wraparound

WinGeorgia CME is a program of Bridge Health. We are funded by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) to provide care coordination to families statewide. Using multiple approaches, WinGeorgia staff help children and young adults with complex behavioral health needs achieve recovery and wellness in their homes and communities.
