We provide services to anyone four years of age and older who lives in Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, or Walker Counties and who are in need of Mental Health and Addictive Disease Treatment.
In case of emergency call 911 or the Behavioral Health Link at 1-800-715-4225.

APEX Program: Through funding from the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, the APEX Program offers schools support for students who are living with mental, emotional, behavioral, and substance use issues. The GA APEX Program provides in-school mental health counselors that serve as a resource for students, as well as, staff. Perhaps the greatest benefit that the program provides is the ability to link students and their families to the mental health services they need in their home communities.
APEX School ReferralBehavioral Health/Substance Abuse: Lookout Mountain Community Services (LMCS) provides a full array of mental health and substance abuse services to adults with a wide range of behavioral, psychiatric, and/or substance abuse disorders. Outpatient treatment modalities include diagnostic assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychiatric evaluations and medication.
Interagency Behavioral Health ReferralIntellectual and Developmental Disabilities: Kaleidoscope is a CARF International accredited program designed to promote independent advancement for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). In keeping with Lookout Mountain Community Services (LMCS) mission to serve and enhance the lives of every member of our community, Kaleidoscope offers many opportunities for those with I/DD. With over 40 years of experience, Kaleidoscope has an outstanding reputation due to its commitment to providing individualized and community-based support and services. Kaleidoscope provides year-round, quality-driven social, recreational, vocational, and programs.
WinGeorgia Care Management/Wraparound: WinGeorgia CME is a program of Lookout Mountain Community Services (LMCS). We are funded by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) to provide care coordination to families statewide. Using multiple approaches, WinGeorgia staff help children and young adults with complex behavioral health needs achieve recovery and wellness in their homes and communities.
WinGeorgia ReferralSupported Employment/Supported Education (SEED) program
The program is for emerging adults ages 16-26. The purpose of Supported Education is to assist youth and emerging adults with their educational goals. This service is available while the individual is enrolled in mental health services with LMCS.
The aim of this service is to:
- Help individuals to identify and achieve their educational goals.
- Advocate for academic accommodations when appropriate.
- Assist with time management and study skills.
- Provide follow-along supports.
- Provide support and guidance, to Individuals enrolled in educational programs and required training, that lead to gainful employment, in the job or career of the Individual’s choice.
- Promote hope and recovery.
